Hi team

i am getting my cycled Evo 13.5 ready for it’s new inhabitants and yesterday did a 30% water change after doing a dosing test with ammonia and the level came down to 0 after about 30 hrs a couple of days ago. I also changed out my filter floss and sponge - the large amount of bio balls in bags (in chamber 2) were rinsed in removed tank water. I did rearrange a small amount of the substrate but only very minimal

feeling happy, or so I thought, that I could ask for my 2 new clownfish to be sent by air this week to me I went to bed and to my horror my crystal clear tank is now cloudy as per the photos

current testing
temp 25.5 (seneye)
pH 7.56 (seneye and Milwauke)
Ammonia 0 (API)
Nitrite 0 (API)
Nitrate 5-10 (API and NYOS)
Alkalinity 6.5 (Hanna)
Salinity 31 (Hanna)

Any advice greatly appreciated
regards
Andrew

+1 on bacterial bloom, or disturbed substrate putting small particulates in the water column. If it's substrate related, try adding felt or a smaller micron filter material to remove.
