Cloudy tank

Hey guys. New tank about 3-4 weeks. Its crazy cloudy and just happened 2-3 days ago. Any ideas or will it clear up on its own. Running carbon currently.

Crazy film algea after one day and its all over the rock and sand. Only where the light hits.

Do you use any type of air freshener or were you burning a candle recently?

Air fresheners use alcohol to help disperse their scents. This alcohol acts like a fuel source for bacteria and causes bacteria blooms which is what commonly clouds tanks. You are doing an aerial version of vodka dosing. You probably have a clear slimy coating on your tank walls and filters.
