Cloudy tank

It's on week two of the cycle and full of brown algae and wasn't to sure why it's so cloudy..

Could very well be a heterotrophic bacterial bloom. They reproduce fast and tend to hang in the water, while the bacteria you're cycling for reproduce more slowly and cling to surfaces. The heterotrophs will fade back, in time.

Could be the organics fueling the bloom coming from your dry rocks.

I removed all phosphates from rock before I set up tank..

Didn't test nitrite, didn't see the point if ammonia was 0
