What have you been doing to the tank to cycle it? If it's not clearing up that means the bacteria is not converting your ammonia and nitrites into nitrates. You could try getting a bottle of biospora (bacteria) and seeing if that helps.

What kind of water are you using? RODI? Have you checked it before adding salt? What brand of salt are you using?

I make my own rodi water and I’m using instant ocean currently..I tried the biospora didn’t help..

If its only been since Aug 5th, id give it more time. How much rock? Whats your substrate? What order were the parts added to the tank? What filtration? Flow?

Assuming everything is in check, your tank should be done cycling three months in. It should be clear by now. It may be a bacteria bloom. If it continues, and nothing seems to clear it up, use a UV sterilizer. I had the same thing happen to me and nothing would clear my water up, it was always somewhat cloudy. Finally after trying everything I used a UV sterilizer and my water was crystal clear within 2 days..

Oh yea wow. I read Aug 5. But for some reason it registered as November 5th.

What is your Ammonia, nitrites, and nitrates at? Also, How did you cycle the tank, any live stock?

Sorry I was working, it’s a 120 gallon tank with 70 lbs of dry rock from BRS and caribsea sand from BRS.. have not added ca/alk because levels are perfect.
