i recently encountered a nitrate problem, after changing out my filter media i also added some of sea chem's natural nitrate reducer. the nitates have come down to about 20ppm but my water is cloudy. i think this may just be a bacterial bloom, give the corals all have their polyps extended as if they where feeding. any one have any ideas or suggestions i was just going to let the tankk run its cycle.

Nitrate reducers are usually liquid carbons promoting bacterial blooms that will be taken out with heavy skimming, the downside is if your skimmer is not strong you will have a white cloud bacterial bloom. DO WATER CHANGES.

You'd be surprised how much a nice water change can help.

A water change will help big time. You could have an ammonia spike for some reason.
