I added salt on sunday morning (Feb 1) to about40 gallons on RODI water..

Im using a55g tank wit a 1200gphpowerhead.

the temperature is at 76 degrees. I did add the salt directly to the tank, and the water was cold, there are very few small particles on e bottom of the tank.

I have 50 lbs of live rock coming today, and I need to get it in.

is the tank foginess jut a matter of patience, or am I screwed?

I used Instant ocean, and poured directly from the bag.

the water isn't really bad.. there is good visibility, you can see all the way through the tank.. its just..white? cloudy? not sure the word..

on a gravity test, the meter reads in the green as well

Once you get the rock in there it will help the cloudiness go away. This is normal for starting a tank like that, no worries. As long as you have the SG in the proper level, your ok adding the Rock.

ok, live rock and
sand have been added, I put 2 penguin bio wheel 350's on there, full of filter floss to try and clear things up. should I leave them on forever or remove them after the tank has cleared up?

I don't have a skimmer or other filters.. only the live rock, sand, and a powerhead.

Well if you don't have a skimmer, it wouldn't hurt to leave them on.

I just checked the ammonia.. It's as green as it can get! I guess I got some good live rockand is starting the cycle immediately huh?

Yup, got a bit of live rock die off that will surely cycle the tank.
