So I just finished my cycle, 0ppm anmonia, 0 nitrites, and about 50ppm nitrate. I did a 25% water change and moved my rocks around some and that stirred up some debris.

I did add some Carib sea bio magnet clarifier to see if that would help.

Now I know that it could still be debris floating in the water column, but it almost seems like a possible algae bloom since I have a filter sock on there and it still hasn’t cleared up since yesterday afternoon.
I just want to make sure that it may not be a possible bacteria bloom or maybe my parameters
may be off since it was the water change. I also dialed in my salinity levels from 1.020 to 1.025.

I also added my first ever saltwater fish yesterday, I got two small oscellaris clowns! They are so cool, I can’t wait to get them some corals going and get the tank more life in it!

How long did you mix water for before putting in tank? Could also be just blow off from rocks. Congrats on the tank though!

Only a couple minutes till it cleared up some. Maybe not long enough. I used a powerhead, I only had to add maybe two cups of salt.
I’m thinking I might just be impatient

You should let you salt mix for at least an hour if possible 24 hours. I did this in the beginning as well I just didn't have the setup for it to mix for long periods of time. Also when you moved your rocks around you could have released nitrates that were trapped in the sand. It is best not to move any rocks now that your tank is cycled.

Awesome thank you! I’m gonna test my water when I get home. Hopefully I didn’t disturb anything too much.
