Hey guys,

So this is the second tank I install, and now I'm in the middle of cycling I guess, with cloudy water which didn't happen before so I'm not sure what the cause is...

The water has been cycling for almost a month now, with only nitrates and phosphate present. The diatom bloom is already gone, and the green algae bloom started 3-4 days ago.. With it the cloudy water (white cloudy, not green cloudy). The skimmer is working perfectly. I also added a biopellet reactor as part of my filtration.

What else to tell... I have a couple mollies living in there to help cycle. Don't worry I added them after the ammonia and nitrites went down..

The radions are on for 10 hours, only 6 hours of significant light...

Here are the parameters so far:
- salinity 1.025
- phosphates 0.03 ppm
- calcium 540 (it's too high... No corals consuming yet)
- alkalinity 7.95
- nitrites ULR 18 ppb
- nitrates.... Lost the test
- magnesium 1260

I would do a water change and add purigen. One bag treats 100 gal.

Bacteria bloom maybe. I got one like 10 years ago on a tank I was setting up i used clarity and it was gone in a few hrs then changed the floss.
