we made a giant thread on sand rinsing just for this condition above. it was six pages of why one should rinse even live sand, and included proofs that rinsing live sand that doesn't contain any pods, worms, burrowers, is ideal and that to not rinse is unideal
wanna take your tank down and rinse that bed to start fresh>? if not, I don't blame you its big work. but if you did, it wouldn't cloud and you'd be freer to work in the tank. if you don't want to change out the bed/rinse then in time the small silty particles will take on biofilms and adhere together, harder to suspend and the clouding will reduce. large events like dropping a rock still makes clouds though, its better to start rinsed.
