CLOUDY WATER OVERNIGHT

When I woke up yesterday I noticed the water in my tank is cloudy. I didnt take any action apart from putting fresh filter floss hoping it will help to clean the water. During the day about 60% of it was gone so I thought it will be alright next day. However, today I woke up to extremely cloudy water that I could barely see anything in the aquarium. I currently have 2 clownfish, firefish and Xenia inside the aquarium.

So here's my question what it can be and whats causing it? I thought its maybe bacterial bloom but not sure.
What should I do to het rid of this?

Btw, it looks much better on photos than in real life.

It looks like some sort of bacterial bloom but it’s difficult to be certain but let’s see what others have to say #reefsquad

If it were me, I would do some water tests to check everything is were it should be, and then leave it alone for a few days and see if it clears up first

Did you rinse the new filter floss first? That looks pretty cloudy, worse than any bacterial bloom I’ve seen.

Do you use any type of dissolved organic carbon? Like NoPOX?

I did the water parameters check and everything look exactly the same before this started to happen.

I did rinse the filter floss but I have put it after the water went cloudy.

I dont use any time of dissolved organic carbon.

How about some member of your tank spawning? Even algae like Caulurpa in a refugium can make a tank cloudy when they 'go sexual' and release spores.

Your return pump isn't sucking any air, is it? My return chamber went a little low recently (long story...algae slowed the flow to it) and when I came in in the am my tank looked like that. Miniscule aerated bubbles in the water. When I got it fixed, it went away...

The same thing happened to me when my snails started spawning

Tank looks fairly new. Most likely a bad bacterial bloom. They normally go away on their own but if you want to clear it, you can add a uv sterilizer

All I use is Salifert Coral Grower

The tank is running only for 3 months. So yeah it is really new.

I already have an UV sterilizer that runs 24/7

Just noticed this is on the live rock, theres quite a lot of it. Could it be the snails eggs? Hope so haha. I have also noticed some of it on one of my snail's shell.
@Ron Reefman you mentioned something about spawning, any idea?
