Cloudy water

I have a 35 gallon trashcan. Filled it up with RODI then dumped to much salt in at once. I had a power head running mixing the saltwater but the water never cleared up. Well I thought that the powerhead wasn't strong enough to mix it right so I went ahead and put it in the tank along with more mixed saltwater that I mixed slower and it was clear. Well now all the water is nasty and cloudy. Is this something that will clear up or am I going to have to change out all the water? This is going in a new system so all I have in it right now is water and sand.

give it time it will clear up, in the mean time try running some carbon to help with the coudy water.
