Ive had the tank up for 2 months gone thru cycle added 2 clowns and some zoas and my water has gone cloudy my parameters are great everything is great i used some filter floss to try to polish the water and purigen and the purigen just made the water more cloudy anyone have an idea of why it started and what do yall use to keep your water crystal clear also i made a temp frag rack and is the plastic safe ?

bacteria bloom. You changed something when you added the fish and your tank is readjusting. Just be patient.

its just the uglies. keep blowing the brown stuff off, and pretty soon itll be purple.
make sure you rinse the purgien REALLY well.
you'd have to research the type of plastic.

if it blows off easy yea do it before water changes. Itll be replaced soon by the purp.

Bacteria bloom.

Could it be the brow algae bloom im experiencing on my rock ?

different kind of bloom. It's a bloom of the "good" bacteria. Your tank is still new. You could put a small UV on it and it will clear up, but patience is what is needed.

Just keep up with water change. It should clear up soon

Are you running any carbon through your filter. My tank is cycling currently and I have a brownish haze that is driving me nuts too so I purchased a carbon reactor to help polish the water. Do you have a protein skimmer workin
