Cloudy water

This is the first time I've experienced cloudy water on my saltwater tank. What could it be amd how can I get rid of it? I am running active carbon and I'm dosing vibrant as well.

how much algae is/was in your system-how long have you been using vibrant?

None, it was just set up last month. So it's still a new tank. Dials are slowly fading away finally. Amd I've dosed vibrant 3 times

It looks like I have a very small patch of green hair algae that was on a frag...

Interesting approach.
Im almost certain your cloudiness is from vibrant. Youre putting straight bacteria into the system with nothing for it to eat.

I'm about to test everything....but last time I checked 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite, 5 or less of nitrate

Its a new tank. Stop using vibrant, let it cycle first. Don't rush with stocking fish/corals. Monitor your parameters and keep Mag, Cal, Kh, Sg etc stable.

Essentially and actually are just words lol it's not stable. Which is what you need. Not vibrant.
Disclaimer-just my opinion. I used vibrant on a 3 month old tank. It nuked it. Consider yourself lucky.
