Yesterday I made two changes to my tank. First I added a new coral and after dipping in revive I forgot to rinse before putting back in (instructions don't say to anyways) and I also added AL-GONE nitrate removal pad at recommendation of lfs. Now my water is cloudy, I pulled the pad out. Not sure which caused it but I don't know what to do

Mixing saltwater now. I put in fresh carbon and a PolyFilter pad. I did notice the skimmer pulled out darker skimmate than it usually does.. could the cloudiness be caused by the nitrates being pulled out quickly?

Watch the polly filter will make your skimmer over bubble at first but will then calm down. Usually cloudy water is a bacterial bloom...which then reduces nitrates...but sucks oxygen so be sure to aerate. Leave skimmer on...do you have a air pump with a limewood that would help.

I have an air pump but no stone. Fish seem fine. What should I do

I just added rinsed chemipure blue nano packets to my 8 gallon after a 35% water change and got a find white cloud. I'm expecting it may be a bloom or just residue. In the past I've just let it run it's course. Me fiddling and adding/removing things made it worse or just stressed me out.

Yeah I'm stressed for sure, all livestock appear normal. I pulled the pad out last night at 5 so it hasn't been 24 hrs yet but I'm hoping it will clear quickly :(

I just tested the 3 big ones, nitrite and ammonia 0 ans nitrates is 10, was 30 prior to adding, is it possible for it to remove 20ppm in just 1 day? Could that have shocked system and caused cloudiness?
