Cloudy Water

Hey guys,

So i know my water is cloudy and thats normal, I just added water about 2 and a half hours ago, my question, should i let it settle before i turn on the system? IE powerheads, and return? I think i should wait? But you guys are the experts!

Just turn everything on. Will eventually clear up.

+1. I turned everything on and my cloudiness cleared up in a few hours.

Turn the system on...the cloudiness will dissipate soon enough. Besides, if you don’t turn the pumps on, when you eventually do, your water will inevitably become cloudy due to the laminar and/or turbulent water flow in your tank.
