My tank is about 3 months and I recently did a water change about a week ago. I got a pretty bad algae bloom but it seams to be slowly going away.

You're going through the "new tank uglies". Just stay the course and let it settle.

What’s your salinity? Did you use RODI water?

Cloudy water is usually caused by bacteria in the water. It’s normal for the most part, but can be aggravated when using or over using some additives that have carbon in them that are mainly designed to lower nitrates. It’s also possible you have a fish that likes to dig in or bury themselves in the sand.

My salinity is at .26 and I used RO water I don’t believe it was DI but I should be getting my own RODI system next week.
Correction it’s actually at .28
