I cant figure this out. It's like a white cloudiness. What can i do? There is some sand blow on the right side. Getting some carbon tomorrow. Been doing 5% weekly changes. Its a fairly new tank.

How new is fairly new? Some persistent cloudiness is common in newly setup tanks, particularly if it’s still cycling. I wouldn’t personally bother with an UV yet. Might simply be fine particulates from the sand (how well did you wash it).

Agreed. How new is fairly new? Based on the rock looking fairly new I think you are going to be prone to fluctuations in a tank like this. I wouldn't go the UV route yet either. New tanks will get very ugly over months before they stabilize and look better. Carbon is probably a good idea but unless you have something strange going on I would hold on the UV for now.

When did you put in the sand? Some types of sand can cloud the water column for some time. Is a powerhead kicking up sand? Are you dosing anything such as a bacteria or something else?

Sand kicking up in any area could be the cause and a new tank will be cloudy at times as others mentioned. My tank clouds up several times a week because of my pistol shrimp. A little sand getting kicked up into the water column (either from pump or inhabitant activity) will cloud the water quickly. Be patient and avoid any direct water movement towards the sandbed.
