My water has recently become really cloudy. All my water parameters seem alright. Does anyone have any idea on what the problem is?

Snails or corals might have released spores/eggs/sperm into the water. Or could have the sand been stirred up

What kind of coral? Does the coral look healthy or has it been on the way out?
I'm not sure what coral it is. Do you know? Also, does it look healthy? I'm a little concerned about it.

Algae bloom. What fish, what light schedule and how much are you feeding? The stringy stuff from the coral is normal. Some do it as a defense mechanism, some do it when they're annoyed and some do it when eating.

2 ocellaris clownfish. I feed them flakes once a day

Looks like a leather of some sorts (I have a FOWLR so idk coral too well) How much are u feeding/fish u have/tank size?
2 clownfish, I feed them flakes once a day (sometimes I let the flakes drift to the floor by accident and I don't take them out, could that be a reason?), 29 gal

Any snails / crabs? Clowns have small stomachs, so you're most likely feeding them way too much for your new system to handle. I'd cut way back on the amount you feed daily. What filtration do you have? How often are you doing water changes?

Do you have a skimmer? I mean i doubt thats the issue if you have been feeding them for a while. If your paras are fine and none of your livestock are having issues than maybe let it cycle for a little and come back in the morning.

I would suggest backing down the feeding. I have 5 fish in a similar size tank and I only feed every other day with very limited food. The way to go is feed what they can eat in 2 minutes.

I have a hybrid protein skimmer/filter (the protein skimmer is working kinda bad now can that be a problem?). I do 10-20% water changes once a week

I have a skimmer but it seems to be broken. Can that be a reason?

Not "the" problem, but it's not helping. Any uneaten food is fuel for the algae. The skimmer, when tuned and working, will get some of it out. If you don't have a cleanup crew to get the rest, it will be a real challenge to get it back under control. I would do a couple large water changes over the next few days to reduce the bloom for sure. Are you running carbon? If you have an adjustable pump, crank that bad boy up and change the filter floss out daily.

I don't really have any visible algae though. Is It just micro algae floating around in the water? Also could you please explain what carbon is? I couldn't find any online
