Hi
I have a Liam's clove polyp and after three + weeks it finally opened, I was thinking it didn't survive the shipping.

I was wondering if this coral needs to be placed vertically or can I put it in an almost horizontal position? I'm thinking I would like to put it on my live rock somewhere that I can see it a little better.

Thanks for the help.

I know they don't like a lot of flow. We have ours on the sand bed in a area with almost no flow. I would leave them how they are since they are opening up.

Thank you for the reply, they are actually near the top of my tank with pulsing flow. I really thought they were dead untill a few days ago but I can see some new polyps starting to grow. I'm considering it my Christmas present :)

Thanks again and Merry Christmas

I had mine open up after about 3 days and seem happier and happier each day until yesterday evening when they were completely closed up again like they were scared... this AM they were laid over like wilted flowers. No idea what happened to them.
