Clove polyps do feed after all.

I was led to believe that clove polyps don't feed but these will close around the zoa blend I target feed the zoas with, so I guess they do feed after all. Once they open back up there is no food stuffs visible.

Good to hear. I have read that they are filter feeders only. Just shows I can't believe everything I read.

Lately I am using the Rod's fish food and mincing it down. The Rod's coral food, at least the package I tried, was too fine for the zoanthids and rics. It turned mostly juice.

When you say mincing it down, do you mean in a blender?

I take frozen chunks and drop them into a blender and mince them up. Have one of those 'Bullet' kind. Awesome for making coral foods.
