Hello R2R,
My Clove Polyps have been closed for almost two months now and yet they haven’t died, just simply have been tightly closed up, even though the rest of my coral has been growing and thriving. Is there any reason for this?

You know, it's funny. I have a frag of Zoas that have about 10 heads, three are open all day and the rest haven't opened in weeks. The other four frags have every polyp open.

Those are dead like really dead

I honestly have never seen a coral more dead in my life. I’ve seen a lot

LoL. So is that coral actually dead?

For the heck of it, try iodine or peroxide dip

Honestly after the great dinos battle of 2019 my firework cloves didn't open for months. At least 3. Long after everything was stabilized and what not. They even were growing algae on the polyps which I took a tooth brush and cleaned couple times a week. Finally 3 weeks ago I saw some start to open. Now they open daily and are looking great. All that said it seemed I lost half of them.

Mine has been closing up one at a time over the last week. Opinions?
