Some dam fish appears to be biting the heads off of my cloves.
Can they regrow new head if the stem is still there?

I have a peppermint shrimp too. the coral was in witness protection in the sump until my foxface and dusky rabbitfish were rehomed. They certainly nipped at them. After putting back in the DT I noticed a few heads now missing.I believe I have a rouge peppermint shrimp. About the time my aiptasia disappeared, my clove polyps started to look retracted. After a few week of wondering if my chemistry was off I came to the conclusion "something" was eating them.
I moved the clove polyps into another tank. After a week or two the head began to grow back. It's been about two months and my cloves polyps are pretty much back to normal.
I was considering getting one tooI've witnessed my tailspot blenny eating mine, but I don't know if the heads grow back.
I've not checked but are blennys ok with gobies?Yeah, they are funny and active little fish. I've got two. I've got three plugs off cloves and one of them comes by and just bites the heads off. So far they are growing at least as fast as they are being eaten. Hoping he gets tired of doing it.
