I’m curious why my clove polyps have been looking like this the past few days, any thoughts to what might have happened? I noticed that a Kenya tree started to brush on them and so I moved them away assuming that was the cause. They still sorta look like that. Should I be worried?

params? could be the kenya tree tho
Params are pretty fantastic. I really feel like the kenya tree was the cause, that thing started growing large

If you mean the coral in the centre of the photo then they aren’t Clove polyps and they’re instead Zoanthids or Palys (hard to tell but they don’t look as big as Palythoa can get).

I could be wrong, but I believe Rotim is referring to the the polyps that I have circled in yellow.

It’s these ones more specifically. I’ve circled them.

They look like they’re completely closed shut with really white tips of some sort, like something made them sick. Sorry for the bad photo, this was probably the best I could take!

I wish I had an answer for you. But I would think that if the Kenya tree was messing with the clove polyps that you circled, that it would have also affected the ones that I circled in the post above yours.
I have been wrong before though, so here is a free bump for you.
