so it appears to be that my one clown fish keeps charging the other one they both entered the tank at the same time together but the slightly bigger one keeps chasing the other one around will this continue to happen or will they eventually get along could this lead to a problem as in hurting the other clown

Some clowns get along and some do not. Do you have any sea anemones in your tank? Many clowns are protective of anemones once they start hosting them. I have found that tomato clowns and maroon clowns are by far the meanest and do not mix well with other types of clown fish.
Chasing is not uncommon, they might be finding the natural pecking order In the tank. If you see them head butting or hitting each other, then I would separate them. Those hits can kill other clowns. I have been hit by a few clowns and it hurts.
Head butting usually does not usually leave marks on the other fish so it’s hard to see any damage. If one of the clowns seams stunned, disoriented then he is probably being hit.

I got rid of my maroon clown, he was beating up all my other fish even without an anemome or other clown. I now have a pair of black percul as, they are awesome. They even sleep on top of each other under a ledge 
Welcome to the hobby. No one told me Nemo was a mean territorial Jerk who bites either.
The larger May be female and the smaller may be male, so now you know why she nags him. Hes got one thing on his mind. Hopefully they find territory or bond. If theyre new in the tank it may take a while.
They also may not yet have decided gender roles yet either and one hasnt changed yet

You would fight to if someone told you to switch your sex. That’s worth a good fight or two.
Clowns can be a pain in the but. Once they sort things out and pair up, it very enjoyable to watch them.

usually just determining dominance.you may also see alot of twitching,i did.i have 3 and two are starting to run down the third but i have a large tank so im hoping for the best
Clowns can be territorial, especially maroon clowns. 10 liters probably isn't enough room for two without one of them getting beat up. I have a 15 gallon reef and my maroon clown owns the entire tank. I initially got two, thinking they'd be buddies and play nice, but no dice. I removed the larger female and she's been in solitary confinement since I got them. I'm not sure what I'll do yet, maybe try again or trade her.
