Clown diagnosis - should I be worried??

After a 3 week QT (just observation—no treatment), I introduced two clowns as the first fish in my 105g DT. I believe that the clowns are leading up to a spawn as they are acting very odd—eg, turning sideways and shaking rapidly next to each other, swimming close with a very attentive male, etc. They occasionally fight (or at least that is what I think they are doing) by facing each other and nipping at each other’s mouths. It happens quickly, but it’s pretty violent. And as quick as they start, they stop and start acting normal . . . or as normal as clownfish act. And the female is not constantly bullying the male.

A few days ago I noticed the female had what appears to be a small white fleshy tissue hanging near her lower lip. I think it might be from the fighting, but wanted to get the group’s opinion. I couldn’t get her to stand still enough to really capture it, but hopefully these pics.

How are you tonight,

It is a bit hard for me to see. If it is recent it may be an injury. I would keep an eye on it to be sure it does not grow or interfere with eating. If the clown starts acting different or eating different let us know.
