I checked the tank when I got home today (50 gallon cube) and one of my clowns was missing. Pulling the reef-cam recordings, it seems that at 9PM last night it just disappeared. 8:45? Swimming with its mate, 9PM? Missing. I added a nem recently and they've taking to hosting that, and the only other thing I can think of was a large emerald crab.
There was no corpse, no cluster of snails or anything. All other fish are fine, and the remaining clownfish is eating and hosting the nem just fine too.
Params: 0.03 phosphates, 2.5 ppm nitrates, 1.026 salinity, 8.1 alk, 430 calc, 8.2 ph.
