The more likely senario here is you introduced a parasite into your tank with the addition of the shrimp.
I have 10 gallon nano reef. 6 months in. Just got a new peppermint shrimp, and now suddenly my clownfish’s fins are torn. But, It’s only one clownfish (which worries me that it’s a disease??) or it could just be the hangout spot. What do i do? Do I need to feed the peppermint shrimp more? I see him eat the pellets I give to my clownfish? How many pellets should I feed my clownfish (I feed them New Life Spectrum Marine Fish Formula 1mm sinking pellets) ?How much do I feed my peppermint shrimp? Can someone give me an amazon link to an appropriate food for the peppermint? I’m scared!!
I would first recommend a 5min FW dip to see if flukes are the cause of the fin damage.

The clown definitely has something else going on. I would venture to guess it is either Brook or velvet.
Brook is very common in clownfish and can present itself similar to ich or velvet in the early stages.

I agree no way your peppermint did that, and potentially a disease.
The only other thought other than disease that comes to mind is if they were bickering and sorting out dominance, and the male received tattered fins, and that would be hopeful thinking.

No way the peppermint. I believe it's the other clown that did in that dorsal fin. Clowns are damsels and they have teeth! My experience with a similar looking clown, unfortunately with mine, it never grew back.
EDIT TO ADD: What I first though was a chewed up dorsal, when looking at the pics again, it appears to be the ventrals that are torn up. Go with @HotRocks recommendations.

As for feeding the fish and the shrimp, the 'normal' recommendation is to feed slowly and just until the fish quit eating. You might add a bit more if the shrimp hasn't gotten much while feeding the fish. They (your clowns & shrimp) are like humans, they like whatever they like. I feed my fish, shrimp, sea cucumber, feather dusters, flame scallop, anemones... you get the idea, a mix of foods. I mix it in a beer mug with some tank water and feed it to the tank with a turkey baster. I use some frozen foods, flake food, pellets, freeze dried and liquid (like Reef Nutrition).
