Clown fish and green hair algae

So after several failed attempts to pair my clown up with various anemones...I found my tank beginning to sport a thatch of green hair algae; the clown is hosting it. So now I am in a wierd place, and don't know if I should leave it or remove it. Thoughts? I have always tried to avoid the stuff in the past 20 years in this hobby. Now it appears I had it all wrong??

Still definitely remove it. I had a similar occurrence happen; not sure if it was brown hair algae or what, but my clowns loved it, but wouldn't touch my RBTA. I got the algae under control and the clowns eventually took to the nem. Remember, the clowns don't need to host anything, you don't want to accommodate something like hair algae.
