I have 3 pairs of clowns in all different tanks. they have been paired for over a year some longer is there any way to get things moving where they breed? I have already tried the slow music and no luck lol

Consistency, patience, and creating a space for them to thrive are a huge part of it. Resources like Pickles Guide to Clownfish Breeding as well as the Wilkerson book on clownfish and the Wittenrich book on breeding marine fishes have been helpful for me. Good luck!

Takes a lot of patience. A store I worked at use to breed clowns. Some of them were paired of for years before they bred, and some never bred at all. One thing we would do was when an established pair laid eggs we would put the eggs with a different pair to see where their instincts were at. If they ate they eggs they were generally not ready

There's a boat load of information on the web on breeding clownfish. I found for the most part that one has to be vigilant on behavior they show when they are ready to mate! Some do not get there! The key is to understand their behavior!
