We bought 2 clownfish a little while ago, they were doing fine and eating good. We noticed a couple white spots on them last night. These were the only two fish in the tank besides inverts and a Blenny that was purchased at the same time. We woke up this morning to one clown dead and the other struggling to survive. Is it Ich? Or maybe velvet since it happened so quick? Here's a picture of our smaller clown. ATTACH]144249[/ATTACH]

That's ich, you need to get those fish into a quarantine tank and treat them. If that's the picture of the 2nd clown it does not look good. Your going to have let your tank run fish less for while to be sure you get rid of all stages of ich otherwise your going to chance repeating this. Sorry about your fish.

Should we be worried about our inverts as well? Not sure if our emerald and hermit crabs and snails can carry it also?

I wouldn't worry about the inverts but follow the advice above - you need to treat the fish asap. So sorry your fish have gotten this :(

Won't hurt inverts, but it will stay in the tank, that's why you will need to go fish less if you really want to be sure your tank is ich free.
