Clown fish disease

Hi, my Clown fish bottom of mouth have some kind of white flesh is growing day by day.. now kept in my qt.. i don't know it's disease or not . But it's taking feeding very well.. can you please tell me the solution

I too hv been suffered from this problem. I assumed that it is a kind of bacterial infection. Maintain good water quality and it will go away. I hv seen this multiple times in my freind group, all time they kept clowns in pair and one of the clowns get this but don't really know what it is. Some say lympho some say bacterial infection.

How many days it's will take to recover and it's will affect other fishes too?

It varies. Mine recovered after 2 weeks but it gets more big. No, other fish will be fine and clownfish will continue to eat food and act normal.

Can we use pimafix for this?

you can treat with Melafix/Pimafix or Paraguard which helps by boosting the fish's immune system.

No i just brought from local shop for one of my Clown. From day one it's white poops issue.. i used metro tablet then it's solved. Laterally i noticed some flesh is growing on bottom of mouth... As you said lympho disease due to water quality..

Not sure it's lympho. I think it is a bacterial issue. U also can see many threads/post on this in internet but all say different things.

I also wish to it have been bacterial infection..let wait for week.. to recover

Clownfish often injure their mouths biting with another clownfish, do you have two? You may never see it happen, I would isolated the two fish and see if it heals.

No it's new fish i brought from local shop

May be there were multiple clowns there. My lfs also keep multiple clowns in one tank

I had something like this on a clown fish 20 years ago. I pulled him out and wiped the spot with hydrogen peroxide on a Qtip. He was fine after that.

Not saying it was the correct or best method, I'm NOT a medical person but that is what I did and it worked for me.
