Clown fish fin discoloration/white spot

Hey guys, I purchased a red head goby a couple days ago from my LFS who had an unusually paunchy or distended stomach however the owner told me it was just very full. I went home release the little fella in my tank after proper acclimation, he swam under a rock and I had not seen him out and about for a day and a half so I went looking for him this morning and found him dead in a back corner of my tank stomach very bloated still. He was alive last night I saw a glimmer of him perched up under a rock. I put him in with 2 clownfish who are starting to develop whiteness/bump on the front of their dorsal fin and I was wondering if anyone might think the goby infected the clowns with some sort of disease, they are acting completely normal as of this morning. How long have you had the clownfish?
Whenever I see clowns with white mucus on their skin, I immediately begin thinking of Brooklynella.
