Clown fish has Growth under eye

Hi all,
Can you help me diagnos my clown fish's problem? It started out as a red mark and now has grown and has a bubble on it. See pic. (Sorry I couldn't get a better picture.)

Any suggestions/help are greatly appreciated!

That's pretty unusual. Does it have a host? A euphyllia with sweepers could have stung it at night.

No, no host yet. It made a bed in the sand with its pair and won't go in my anenome. It's about 2 yrs old, but I just got it 4 weeks ago.

This is what I would do: Start soaking the fish food with vitamin supplements (exs. Selcon, Zoecon, Vita-chem). It could be anything ranging from a growth of some kind (possibly a tumor) to just a minor infection/swelling from an injury. But IME; clownfish are pretty tough and hopefully the fish's natural immune system can overcome whatever this is. If it gets worse, you might need to take a more aggressive approach (i.e. antibiotics in a QT or possibly even surgical removal of the growth .)

Also, you said you had a pair. Notice any aggression between them? I'm just wondering if you might actually have two females locking jaws, or maybe just a martial spat going on.

Also try this to help relieve the (possible) swelling: Dose 1 tablespoon of Epsom salt per 5 gallons of water. Epsom salt is just magnesium sulfate so it's reef safe.

I took my pics to my local LFS and they helped me set up a quarantine tank. I'm dosing with Para Gaurd and will let you know how it progresses.
