Hey all! I got two Clownfish to start off my tank, both of which are doing great, feeding really well and really active too, although they both seem to have darkened up recently from their bright orange colour when i first got them, is this normal as a maturing process or is their something else i need to do or look for.

Thanks in advance :)

How long have you had them? It could be that they are darkening bc they're maturing.

Thanks guys, Vic I have had these around 12 week now, they were really vibrant orange when i first got them, now they sem to be really dark at the top, almost like a Bright Orange bottom half with a gradient to a dark orange o their top half (if that makes sense to you, Here is a pic, but it doesnt really show that much. i will try and get a proper pic with a better camera for you.

Thanks Saltyphish and vic

If you had them longer I would think it's just age that causing the color change. 12 weeks doesn't seem long enough but I could be wrong. If they're swimming actively and eating I wouldn't worry. :)

Just wondering how often you do water changes, but iv noticed back when I first started if I didn't do regular water changes fish and livestock seem to change a bit, might be just a coincidence
