Clown fish laying eggs

Just thought I would share this here with other people who might like it

Congrats.

Me too.
That means they are very, VERY happy with their home.

Yes I like think they have best spot on the tank with all the Bubble tips. And yes anything that comes near then gets chased
Nice! Mine spawn every 2 weeks.
Yea same here probably been going on close to a year. I have had these fish going on 5 years. They cycled they tank.
You ever try and raise them? I try and see if I can ever see them hatch idk if they even do because I never see any fry

My male is the guard. Never leaves the nest.
Raised, yup, but not from the DT.
Did them in a 20g with a clay pot.
Then, when the eyes go silver, moved to a 5g and an air stone to keep those eggs aerated.
A 7-10 day supply of live rotifers, enriched with Selcon is a must, or at least, that’s all that worked for me.
The rotifers is both the perfect size food item and soft enough that the fry can consume. Baby brine gives some success but three times the size of the rotifer and tougher exterior.
Great fun.

Nah, ive read up on it.... to much work! Lol

Here are my clowns in their mag, the eggs are at the base....not the best view. You can see it the best toward the end when the male goes to check them.
