Clown fish not eating and behaving strange

So about 3 months ago one of my clownfish passed I would like to know why. It all started when she stopped eating one day just letting the food go by her face a few days later she started hanging out in a corner acting stranger than the regular strange for a clown two days passed and she started hanging out at the surface of the water with rapid breathing. She did not seem to notice any thing even when I caught her with a net. Shortly after she died. So anyone know what happened? No stringy poop I could see or white dots.

Could have been brook or flukes, I’ve seen some fish harbor velvet in there gills and never show spots. It’s likely you’ll never really know.

Her skin seemed fine to me.

Could have been brook or flukes, I’ve seen some fish harbor velvet in there gills and never show spots. It’s likely you’ll never really know.

Very likely I had an itch/velvet outbreak about a week later but I thought it was from the new fish I added.

No toxins I think it was properly cycled I don't really remember but my numbers were fine.

Very likely I had an itch/velvet outbreak about a week later but I thought it was from the new fish I added.

I had a wrasse with velvet and it took 3 weeks to finally get sick. It never showed any spots and even went through copper at 1.75ppm. It died after the copper and its behavior before death is what told me velvet.

All the other fish were fine before and after till I added fish with little white spots on them and put them in my tank. But yes most likely velvet.

It was completely normal and only occasionally flashed which made me think flukes. I put him through copper (1.75ppm)then Prazi, then fenbendazole (I thought it was Prazi resistant flukes)and two days afterwards he started breathing hard, swimming into a powerhead, and hiding from light. He died 12 hours after first symptoms. I had 3 wrasses QT’ed together the whole time and nothing else was added. None ever showed any spots. I ran them back through copper at 2.0ppm and the surviving two made it into my DT

There was no flashing or swimming in to the powerhead just floating around drifting in the current as if in a trance.
