Clown Fish Not eating Mysis

What other foods should I try feeding my Clown, he seems to really not like Mysis.. I have some ideas but is what are some frozen foods your Clowns seem to Love?

Not sure how long you've had it, but new to tank it's very common for clowns to just not eat first few days, not sure why, but I see this quite often.


It will adapt to mysis, that and NLS pellets are what mine prefer.

I figured it was because he was new. Is it true that you should always have 2 clowns and never just 1?

No you can keep them alone as well.

Mmm, I think that's true if you wish to enjoy them more!
Otherwise no, it does not matter really.

New clowns seem to always spend a couple/few days just exploring new tank, and just seem to be more interested in that than eating for some reason, this is different from just about every fish I keep unless they are just shy and hiding, which is usually not the case w/ clowns.

That's what I thought.. Some guy at my LFS told me other wise and i was like hmmmm Stick to what your good at, good price Tank equipment haha Their tanks are bad and fish unhealthy but man do they have SUPER cheap prices on equipment!

I am very experience with FreshWater, One of the reasons i changed over to salt water is because the types of fish have sooo much more personality!

Many LFS have employees that just don't know better.
