My clown fish is just staying in his house and I don’t think he’s eaten for 4 days now and i don’t know what to do, one thing to note is I had a fish randomly die last week.

sounds like you might be dealing with some sort of fish illness with 1 fish dying and another now not eating. Any pictures of the clownfish would help as well as to know if it is breathing fast, has a gaping mouth, or white stringy poop. Also did the fish that die look odd at all, had spots or maybe was slightly whitish when found dead?

No this fish that died looked fine it just died randomly but it did go back and forth from regular poop and white stringy poop. The clown fish has a gaping mouth but I haven’t seen any stringy poop.

take a small video of the fish and post it please, it could help figuring out what is going on.
Fish dont really randomly die unless something is wrong but there are many things that can cause death.
What are the parameters of the tank? Are you running rodi water or tap and conditioner? What is waterflow like in the tank (o2 exchange)?

Its obviously stressed and a couple of pics and even videos under white lighting will be helpful,
Is fish discolored?
Is it breathing normal or rapid ?

Unfortunately pics are very dark why I requested white lighting for best visual assessment. Fish is breathing quite rapid and I suspect in part water as you have visible signs of dinoflagellates which release low level toxins.
What is your ammonia-nitrate-phosphate-ph and salinity levels and what kit are you testing with?

they are both breathing extremely fast, this can be due to parameters or disease.
Lets single out parameters first, what are they? Are you using rodi or tap water?

The first video is the first with problems and the second video is my other fish that’s starting to act weird

I use rodi water and I’m using api I don’t test phosphates and haven’t fixed the Dino problem in my tank because I’ve been to busy to do anything, according to the api test everything is zero and ph is 8.4. My salinity is 1.026

That’s the brightest light that my light has but I can take a picture with the flash on

Just assure the flash does not impact picture quality with reflection

I know youre trying - pic is a little hazy
Are you seeing any of these signs in addition to rapid breathing? . . . . . . .
lethargic behavior
Staying in one spot
Loss of color
shaking its head

I don't see any signs of Brooklynella in the fish. IMO, that leaves Velvet, gill flukes or water quality problems as the three most likely issues.

Are there other fish in the tank? How do they look?
Are there invertebrates in the tank? How are they?

Most likely fine as api will give you the most general reading but at least nitrate should be low (api is not a great test kit). How did you measure salinity as well (refractometer and calibration solution?)

another fish died last week in the tank but op said it looked ok otherwise. I was thinking flukes if we cant find parameter issues but didnt want to say freshwater dip check yet without more info on parameters

Waterflow seems good as well in the video so i dont suspect o2 issue but OP do you have any wavemakers or a protein skimmer?

I just have a cleaner shrimp in my tank and he’s completely fine

have you calibrated the refractometer with 35ppt solution like this one from brs or similar?
