Hello,

I bought 2 clowns 2 weeks ago and one of them is not swimming straight. I noticed a day ago he/she was not quite as active and seemed to have slightly labored breathing. Right now he/she cannot swim straight and favors the sides. Breathing is labored.

Other fish, clown, yellow watchman and royal gamma seem fine. Clowns were the most recent addition.

Tank is 6 months old. As of yesterday the nitrates were .25 ppm, phosphate was .08, alk at 8.6, ph about 8.1, temp 78.2.

Any thoughts?

Thank you

Often when a Clownfish is acting strange, it's a submission behavior due to aggression. Sometimes, they will float near the surface on their side. But you never know for sure with Clowns.

Thanks radsdad, unfortunately, it died about 10 minutes after the post. Sad day
