I had 4 in my 150 gal tank, I lost one about 5 months go. The remaining three got along fine till yesterday. Now 2 of the clowns are bullying the other one. Will adding another clown to making it even number stop the bullying ?Is this question in relation to a system you currently have or one you're planning? Clownfish in pairs work best but having more than one pair requires a larger system so they can establish separate territory
That would be next to impossible, a 150 heavy with rock and coral , no way I'm breaking down the system to net him out150 is plenty for a couple pairs... I'm not sure how introducing another would work out. Might be worth pulling the lone clown and pairing it separately from the DT then reintroduce the new pair....
True true true, wish me luck. You could try trapping, never said it would be easy. You could definitely try adding another and hoping they pair up but that might end up bad as well. It's a tough situation to be in
