Good morning everyone looking for a little help.

Have one clown that has had spots for months, I have had both my clowns in QT for over a month. Only one seems to be sitting signs of anything. Both eat and act normal, the orange clown before QT did have stringy white poops but since treatments have subsided.

Treated white metro and focus in the food for two weeks and paraguard dosing for one month.

Bump any help appreciated

Those look like damaged scales to me. As scars, they may be permanent. As a general rule, any spot on a fish that remains unchanged for more than two weeks is chronic, and really likely to benefit from any treatment.

dumb question, but did you remove any carbon from your filtration when dosing treatment, I’ve seen some people forget and have there medications gone to waste, but either way if the marks have remained in the same spot for that long it might just be a scar like jay was saying, keep an eye on where the marks are and if they don’t seem to move it’s probably nothing

Appreciate it, any chance would you know if aptasia could scar clowns? They were pulled from a heavily infested aptasia tank that I shut down

No carbon just a filter sock.. nothing else in the tank besides a return pump and heater for a QT
