Clown Fish! The ultimate ambush predator

I just love it how my clowns wait till my hand is all the way at the bottom between two super delicate corals grabbing a little piece of GHA to bite me. I jumped so bad I broke a little branch of coral and splashed water all over the floor! Right in front of my 5 year old son!! He laughed so hard. Those clowns are so sneaky it’s crazy how hard that little mouth can bite.

I had a female with a knack for nailing me right on the webbing between my fingers. She drew blood more times than I care to remember. I have actually pulled her out of the water with her latched on to my rubber gloves. Yes, I would jump out of my skin every time.

Yeah. They are mean little suckers. I’ve noticed if I can keep an eye on them to anticipate when they might bite me, it’s hurts less since I’m anticipating it and not caught off guard.....easier said than done
