Pics are a bit fuzzy but I believe i see a patch/blotch on its back which appears to be bacterial. Treatment will be seachem kanaplrx OR Maracyn 2 for 5 days. Before starting treatment, can you repost pics under white lighting for verification ?

Why are you recommending a treatment and then asking for new pictures for clarification? It obviously is shooting from the hip! He/she may not have the medicine and may have a wasted a trip to the store and their money!Pics are a bit fuzzy but I believe i see a patch/blotch on its back which appears to be bacterial. Also assure lens and glass are clean for sharpest image

I hope your liquid tests are not API kits. They are not always reliable and are difficult to read. Go with Salifert, Hanna or Red Sea.I'm at work for a little bit. I will get new pics when I get home. I got the fish together and put them into the tank I do have 3 frags in there from before. Thanks for any and all help...I have the liquid tests coming in all I have is strips and I can barely read them.
I don't see my reply so I'll post the picture again ... it's hard to get a good picture ... it definitely looks like a bruise under the skin
TheYes - that's identical to the syndrome that I discussed in my post above. Nobody knows what causes it. Topical treatments won't work for something like this that is under the skin. Oral medications are really tricky to do properly. And then, if it is indeed a bruise, no treatment would help. I don't think it is a bruise though as none of the cases I've had brought to me indicated that the fish could have gotten injured in some fashion.

Not much you can do but see if it worsens as it is a condition , not parasite, etcThe
So should I just do nothing?
Ok thanks for the help... my crappy luck I guessNot much you can do but see if it worsens as it is a condition , not parasite, etc
Seachem metroplex added to food if eating MAY help, but a pure gamble
Well, nobody knows what causes this, so there isn’t any known treatment. The
So should I just do nothing?

I prefer to keep clowns alone, no risk of them fighting in that case!
