I bought two clownfish. Before I bought them they were in the same tank together they were both perfectly fine when at the LFS. Since, I have brought them one has definitely showed its dominance, but the other one has yet to submit. It has been really struggling. Half of one of the fins have been been ripped off and has a lot of other marks on it. At what point and what should I do to get them to get a long. The one that has been damaged has not ate the last two nights as well. Any suggestions?

you could get an acclimation box for the injured one to heal or time out the aggresive one for a few days

I agree with Fragin52 with a suggestion to “timeout” the more aggressive one to allow the other to explore the whole tank and hiding spaces better.

while it is normal for some fighting while one established dominance, too much can lead to the other dying. Yours sounds like it may be leading that direction and good that you are taking action now to be safe.

Sorry to hear but hope in the end it turns out well, keep us all posted and good luck.
