So my larger female clown this morning started hanging out in a cave, she has never done that before I did feed the tank and she ate but not with the craziness she normally does. And I noticed this on one side of her see pictures.
The other side of her is clear and the other fish look fine.
Any ideas.

Lay eggs there?
I can’t see any eggs. The other clown is like half her size not sure how clown mating works.
The smaller clown was only introduced a week ago as this is a new tank.

Also it looks to be a little stringy what every it is.

My 2 clowns are in love. My male is half the size of the female.

A large dominate male will trangender into a female and mate with the smaller male.

Look for eggs along the cave walls. The male will come and fertilize them.

I can't see what looks "a little stringy" in your pics, can you elaborate? Smaller clowns generally are the males, and the larger ones are female, but if they were paired up, you would see them hanging together, and there shouldn't be any change in the female's reduction in her feeding response.
