Hey I'm new to the hobby but have kept tropical fish for a few years the tropical tank is my partner's baby, a have set up a Kent nano reef a few weeks ago and have 2 black ice clowns I no there is very little nutritional value in brine shrimp I was just wondering weather it would be a good idea to mix them with mysis and feed it as a sort of cocktail I can't think of any reason why not but like I said I'm new to the hobby so just want to double check first I no it's probably a silly question. Thank you.

Welcome to R2R :) All of my fish love LRS Reef Frenzy. I started out with just frozen brine as well. While the fish did ok, there was a big difference once feeding better foods. @DSC reef listed some great stuff!

Really just get any flake or pellet that is nutritious for them. Mysis is full of protein and a good staple diet for them. Feed mainly mysis. I’ve been feeding my tank a mix of mysis, angel preparation food, and nori

+ 1 on the reef frenzy, we try to switch things up everyday to give a variety and to ensure they get everything they need. Mysis, Reef frenzy, pellets and brine. I was told flakes are like potato chips, not allot of nutritional value. Not sure how true that is, but we sneak some of that in to from time to time.
