Clown getting abused... Need some opinions please

Yesterday we noticed a bite out of our male clown's tail. We have a Undulated Triger that once was pretty tame and we are thinking it is getting aggressive. The female clown is exceptionally aggressive, bite me anytime I put my hand in the tank. Well today we noticed now that the male clown has more of his tail missing, part of his dorsal is missing, his mouth has a chunk out of it and one of his eyes is gone. Our thoughts are that if the trigger was taking bites out of its head, there would be much bigger holes and likely death. Could this be caused by the female? We have since relocated the male to a smaller tank that we set up about 2 months ago with wet ocean rock that we have been slow rolling as there was tremendous life with the rock and we have been watching that unfold. We are sad that the male clown was abused so badly and fear it will be swimming in the porcelain throne soon. @Susannah.odle

Definitely keep it separated for now, I’m not sure what to advise you on when it comes to the culprit but just make sure the clown is good for now

My female harassed the heck out of my male when I did some reaquascaping with their home rock. They finally settled down after a few days. I was preparing to remove him or her.

Is the male still eating in the new tank?

@fish farmer , yes the male is eating with no issues. I just can't believe how beat up this poor fish got.

Male is eating and swimming as usual in the new tank. The 2 clowns were paired for a couple years and trigger has been with them for at least 9 months or more. Not sure what caused it all of the sudden.
