I'm about to stock a 50 gallon (36x18x18). Would I be able to get a yellow and a green clown goby or will they be aggressive with each other?

Hello, I'm also looking at a clown goby for the 75. I like the color & their outgoing way. I'd think not but do they sleep in the sand like other goby's?
Thanks Austin for this post !

I don't know if they sleep in the sand but I know they like to perch on corals and rocks throughout the day

They do not sleep in the sand.

The clown gobies are great looking I would love a few in my reef but must they have sand?
Thanks

This doesn't sound right to me,however the guy at my LFS told me they were poor shippers & they had to have branching corals to survive. I repeat This doesn't sound right to me ! Iv'e seen plenty in tanks without Acraporas.

They can be poor shippers. I have found the Yellow Clown Gobies ship the best. They also do_Not_ need branching acropora to survive. That_is_ what they live in in nature but it is not a necessity.

I'm really wanting a clown goby for my 75 reef. I want small cool fish. I have a swiss guard basslet, sunburst & a flesh eating lawn mower so far .

Sunburst Anthias? And I think a clown goby would do okay with the inhabitants

Oh Ya they get along just fine. the lawn mower likes my flesh so no probs there. Every time I stick my hand in there,he takes a shot at me. Little ingrate ! LOL
As for the clown, I keep an eye out for one.

They are a beauty to watch but if you have an sps tank be careful, cause they lay eggs in corals and they kill the area were they lay them and eventually kill the coral. I lost three big colonies cause of that.
