Clown Goby question

This little guy uses my sps as furniture. He's worn a spot on a monti like the freeloading friend who won't leave. Does he need evicting?

I evicted mine to my wifes tank, they seem to love to lay around on the sps. First one we had never had the issue, but the 2nd one we did.

They want to be on sps. As a small, bite-sized inhabitant of the reef, they find safety and protection among sps.

That monti looks like it is actually a chalice, echinophyllia lamellosa. A pretty aggressive coral that ideally needs space.

You are correct, it has pretty long sweepers at night. I think it was sold under the name Hollywood Stunner.
