clown hosting trouble

so i've heard that time usually helps get clowns to host anemones, I've heard of cases up to 2 years. I've been trying to feed my anemone more as well as I heard healthier anemones were hosted more, female shows hosting properties sometimes, male has not at all

I hear ya!

My clowns have a Magnifica, an LTA, and 2 big rainbow BTA’s to choose from.

They still live there corner of the tank.

It can happen right away as it did in my last tank, or in time, or not at all.

When I started my first tank I bought 2 clowns and the anemone they were hosting in at the lfs, it took them almost 3 months before they'd host in it again

I even tried taping my iPad to the side of the tank with a video loop of clowns in a Magnifica for a week!

Others have tried that as well as taping a pic to the tank.

It has worked for some. FWIW.

I have a pair that took a year to host in a torch 2" from their corner. They dont go near the anemone.
